Kyoto [kyo-to]
A city in central Japan on southern Honshu; a famous cultural center that was once the capital of Japan.
This was a great time to visit because it was fairly quiet and my friends and I were able to walk through the many paths, along which these gates stand, and we saw very few other people. It’s an amazing place.
